How the HYROX race format works
This HYROX race format planner shows the fixed sequence of eight 1 km runs alternating with eight stations. The exact sequence helps athletes choose training targets for singles, doubles or relay preparation.
The roxzone is the transition area between the running track and stations. Athletes pass through it before and after every station, and that time counts in the official finish time.
Doubles partners split station work while both run the full distance. Relay teams split the whole race four ways. Station loads vary by division and season, so check the official HYROX rulebook for current details.
Total running = 8 × 1 km = 8 km This planner describes the race format; it does not supply station weights, sled loads, wall ball masses or target heights because those vary by division and season.
